Research Brand Identity

PROJECT BACKGROUND

The Block's Research division is made up of crypto-native experts, many of whom have extensive experience in traditional finance.

The Block was established in 2018 following the rise in popularity of crypto. Originally, The Block worked with a contracted illustrator to create graphics for the initial website. In 2020, The Block hired their own in-house design team and started taking more control of graphics production and brand alignment.

I was hired in 2021 and worked with the original design team to produce solely graphics. After 2022, I assumed creative control over the Research Brand, focusing on updating the visual styles of Research Reports, article graphics, and event announcements.
